BMW stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke (or in English, Bavarian Motor Works), and is based in Munich. Under the long-standing tagline "The Ultimate Driving Machine", the company has mainly produced luxury cars with a focus on driving pleasure. BMW produces motorcycles under the BMW Motorrad division, and also owns both the MINI and Rolls-Royce marques.
